Basically, no one develops a program with the intention of making it hard to use, but they may go about accessibility in different ways. But I've also heard many say the opposite. Personally, I've tested both, and Blender's general structure just resonated better with me. Some people feel Maya is convoluted, some feel that Blender is. And starting out, I wouldn't recommend you to use both of them for different purposes, learning one will take long enough. They essentially do the same thing, so neither is really better for one thing. Well, neither of these programs specialize in any one area, they're both general 3D-modeling software. Random Hue per Branch, Season Offset slider, or Brightness Randomization are more complex features worth noting.Specifically, which of the two programs is better for creating characters and which is better for creating environments.
